Markku Koponen appointed Head of the FIN-FSA's Digitalisation and Banking Services division

Markku Koponen (MSc) has been appointed Head of the FIN-FSA's Digitalisation and Banking Services division as of 1 June 2019. Markku Koponen has long experience of working at the FIN-FSA, and for the past six years he has served as Head of the Operational Risks division.
 
The FIN-FSA is to strengthen the supervision of the increasingly digitalising financial sector and the new services and entities in the sector. As part of the reorganisation and development of the FIN-FSA’s activities, digitalisation and banking services expertise was centralised into a new Digitalisation and Banking Services division on 1 March 2019.
