The Spanish Financial Supervisory Authority announces winding-up of an insurance company, revocation of its administrative authorisation and dismissal of the appointed controllers
On 4 February 2013, the Spanish Financial Supervisory Authority, Ministerio De Economía Y Competitividad, announced that it had been decided to commence winding-up procedures concerning the insurance company Cahispa, S.A. De Seguros De Vida. The authorisation of Cahispa, S.A. De Seguros De Vida has been revoked.
The controllers of the insurance company, D. Eduardo Roldán Pignatelli and D. José Antonio Fernández de Pinto, have been dismissed.
The Spanish Financial Supervisory Authority, Ministerio De Economía Y Competitividad, has informed the public of the measures according to the Directive on the reorganisation and winding-up of insurance undertakings.
The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority hereby informs interested parties of the notification by the Spanish Financial Supervisory Authority pursuant to section 15 a of the Act on Foreign Insurance Companies (398/1995), as amended by Act 525/2008, and section 15 b, as amended by Act 331/2004.
