Greek supervisory authority announces commencement of winding up proceedings, withdrawal of authorisation and appointment of a liquidator to an insurance company

On 24 February 2014, the Bank of Greece has announced its decision to commence winding up proceedings concerning the insurance company La Vie Societe Anonyme Grecque d´Assurances Sante. Authorisation for La Vie Societe Anonyme Grecque d´Assurances Sante has been withdrawn. Mrs Eleni Atherinou has been appointed as liquidator. The insurance company may continue to pursue business in the non-life classes 1 and 2.
