Anneli Tuominen
Anneli Tuominen has been Director General of the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) since 2007. Before that, she was Deputy Director General of the authority, heading the Capital Markets Department 1996–2007. Prior to the FIN-FSA, she worked in the banking sector.
Tuominen is a voting member of the Supervisory Board of the European Central Bank. She is also a voting member of the Board of Supervisors of EIOPA and ESMA and a non-voting member of the General Board of the ESRB (European Systemic Risk Board). Tuominen served as the Interim Chair of ESMA 1.4-31.10.2021.
In Finland, she is Board Member of FINE Insurance and Financial Advisory.
