Jakelu Distribution Service and reporting application

  • The FIN-FSA has developed a reporting application that enables the generation of valid XBRL/XML/CSV-format encrypted report files as required from reporting institutions. The reporting application is used with either an Excel add-in or auxiliary workbook, depending on the reporting. The reporting application (workbooks and related software files) can be downloaded from the FIN-FSA’s Jakelu Distribution Service. The use of the service requires a login ID and a password, which reporting institutions receive automatically by mail once the authorisation has been approved or the notification verified. A reporting institution may also produce the required reports using methods of its own in accordance with the instructions for machine-readable data transmission. The reports are sent to the FIN-FSA by email.

    Instructions for machine-readable data transmission are applied to the production and delivery of machine-language reports to the FIN-FSA.
