Mikko Heinsalmi appointed Head of Division at new Supervisory Processes division

Mikko Heinsalmi has been appointed Head of Division at the Financial Supervisory Authority’s new Supervisory Processes division as of 1 December. Heinsalmi has worked in the Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) and the Bank of Finland for around ten years in various positions, most recently as Head of Division at the FIN-FSA’s Capital Markets Supervision department and in a development role in the Director General’s Staff.

The now established Supervisory Processes division will be located in the Director General’s Staff and will be responsible for the harmonisation of the FIN-FSA’s supervisory processes. A key tool in harmonising the FIN-FSA’s supervisory processes will be system development, on which Heinsalmi has also worked in his development role.
