Scam attempts in the name of the Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) and its staff
There are fraudulent messages being sent in the name of the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) and its staff, and these are being sent to company executives in particular. Please be vigilant when viewing emails.
In the most recent scam attempts, email addresses have been modified to appear as though sent from the FIN-FSA, and it may be hard to tell the difference between this and a genuine message. If you reply directly, this will go straight to the scammer. Do not reply to these scam messages and do not click on any links contained within them. Do not open any attachments either.
If you receive a suspected scam message, please contact the FIN-FSA directly about this, but through a different channel – do not use any link or phone number contained in the message.
