Anneli Tuominen continues as Director General of the Financial Supervisory Authority

The Parliamentary Supervisory Council has today appointed Anneli Tuominen, LLM, MSc (Econ) as Director General of the Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) for a renewed five-year term commencing on 4 February 2019. The appointment was made upon proposal by the FIN-FSA Board.

Anneli Tuominen has served as Director General of the Financial Supervisory Authority since 2009, and previously as Acting Director General of the Financial Supervisory Authority and Director General of its predecessor, the Financial Supervision Authority.

A total of 11 applicants applied for the position of Director General by the set deadline.
