Marko Hovi appointed Head of Division at Investment Products and Services

Marko Hovi, LLM, Master of Laws and Master of Economic Sciences, has been appointed Head of Division at the Capital Markets Supervision department’s Investment Products and Services for the period 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2025. Hovi has previously worked at the Financial Supervisory Authority as Chief Supervisor in the supervision of investment firms and funds. He has long and diverse work experience in the industry and more than ten years’ experience in line manager positions.

The Investment Products and Services division is responsible for supervising the activities of investment service providers, management companies, alternative investment fund managers and crowdfunding intermediaries and for processing their authorisation and registration applications. In addition, the division supervises information provided to investors on investment products and product development practices, and actively participates in the preparation and implementation of European and national regulations.
