The Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority announces winding-up of an insurance company, withdrawal of its foundation permit and appointment of a company in charge of winding up the insurance company

On 25 January 2013, the Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority announced that it had been decided to commence winding-up procedures concerning the company AIM Általáos Biztosító Zrt.

The company’s foundation permit has been withdrawn, and a company in charge of the winding-up procedures has been appointed.

The Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority has informed the public of the measures according to the Directive on the reorganisation and winding-up of insurance undertakings.

The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority hereby informs interested parties of the notification by the Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority pursuant to section 15 a of the Act on Foreign Insurance Companies (398/1995), as amended by Act 525/2008, and section 15 b, as amended by Act 331/2004.
